Vasco, Goa – The Goa Spiritual Festival 2025 reached its zenith with a groundbreaking Samudra Narayana Maha Aarti at Baina Beach, Mormugao, drawing thousands of devotees and spiritual leaders. This momentous event, organized by Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth and Satguru Foundation, marked a pivotal shift, aiming to establish Goa’s beaches as centers of spiritual energy rather than solely tourist hotspots.
The festival, a testament to Goa’s rich spiritual heritage, sought to reintroduce the region’s ancient significance as “Go-bhoomi” and “Gomanchal Bhoomi,” as documented in Vedic and Puranic scriptures. The Goa Spiritual Festival 2025 aimed to illuminate this historical spiritual depth to a global audience.
Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti and Ganga Sabha General Secretary, Anant Shri Vibhushit Swami Jitendraanand Saraswati, emphasized the festival’s mission. “The Goa Spiritual Festival 2025 will be remembered for its role in showcasing Goa’s true spiritual identity. We resolve to elevate Goa’s spirituality to a global platform, ensuring its seashores are recognized for spiritual advancement,” he stated.
The highlight of the Goa Spiritual Festival 2025 was the grand Samudra Maha Aarti, a spectacle of chanting, conch shells, and Vedic rituals. A large-scale Yagya and yogic practices on the shore further enhanced the spiritual ambiance, creating an unforgettable experience for attendees.
Mohanji, head of Mohan Foundation Europe, commended the Goa Spiritual Festival 2025 for unveiling Goa’s spiritual essence. “The Samudra Maha Aarti, a key feature of the Goa Spiritual Festival 2025, will gain global recognition.
