The Indian team for the Asia Cup can be announced soon, this time the Asia Cup is to be played in Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

For the Asia Cup, the Indian team can field its full strength squad, some star players can also return to the team.

Fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami are also likely to make it to the Asia Cup squad.

Shami, 32, played his last ODI against Australia on March 22, 2023. Shami was rested for the ODI series against the West Indies.

On the other hand, 29-year-old Bumrah played his last ODI match against England on 14 July 2022, after which Bumrah was suffering from injury.

Bumrah is returning to international cricket through a three-match T20 series against Ireland.

The return of Shami and Bumrah will strengthen the Indian pace attack and both of them can prove to be a headache for the opposition batsmen.
