Mumbai, India: Renowned film director and researcher Samar K Mukherjee has recently lauded Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s latest release, “Jawaan,” attributing its success to a thoughtful connection with public sentiments. The film, which has received acclaim from both audiences and critics, has not only struck a chord with emotions but has also performed impressively at the box office.
Samar K Mukherjee, the founder of Digifilming and a facilitator of IFTA certification filmmaking courses in Mumbai, dissected the factors contributing to the triumph of “Jawaan.” According to Mukherjee, the film’s significant budget was strategically invested in aligning with the emotions and sensibilities of the audience.
“First of all, a lot of money has been spent on making the film keeping in mind the emotions and sensibilities of the audience,” remarked Samar K Mukherjee.
He further emphasized the audience’s preference for characters that resonate with their personal lives rather than just the actors. In “Jawaan,” Shah Rukh Khan portrays a common man fighting to protect his family and country—a character that Mukherjee believes establishes a strong connection with the audience, fostering an emotional engagement with the film.

The film’s lighting, colors, and action sequences have been meticulously crafted, incorporating advanced techniques like color grading and high-end software.
“The lighting, colors, action have been created like Hollywood films which have been liked by the youth,” Mukherjee highlighted.
Summing up his analysis, Mukherjee declared “Jawaan” as a well-made film that not only entertains but also delivers a meaningful message to the audience. The film’s success, according to him, is a testament to Bollywood’s resilience and its ability to produce films that resonate with and are appreciated by contemporary audiences.
