Mumbai : Fashion Director Mohit Kapoor shares his joyful experiences celebrating Christmas in Dubai and highlights the city’s allure, especially during the winter months. Kapoor, currently in Dubai, expresses his affinity for the city and its vibrant festive atmosphere.
“Dubai is like a second home to me and one of my favorite places to travel. This time, I specially came here for the Christmas and New Year celebrations. My Christmas was too good, and I enjoyed it a lot,” says Mohit Kapoor.
Kapoor underscores the appeal of Dubai during December and January, citing the cold and pleasant weather as a significant factor. He notes that these months are the best for traveling to Dubai, as tourists from around the world flock to the city to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
One of the major attractions for Kapoor is the lively parties held in Dubai during this season. “So many good pool & beachside parties happen here. Dubai is full of tourists at the moment, and December and January are the best months for traveling to Dubai as the weather is cold and pleasant,” he adds.

Sharing his favorite spots in Dubai, Kapoor mentions JBR Marina and the World Trade Centre, highlighting the abundance of restaurants and cafes that make them special. He singles out Forever Rose London as one of his favorite cafes. Kapoor also encourages people to explore Old Dubai, describing it as a beautiful area worth discovering.
Dubai’s reputation for adventure sports is not lost on Kapoor, who has tried activities like skydiving, quad biking, ziplining, and flyboarding. Among these, skydiving emerges as his favorite.
Reflecting on Dubai’s unique Christmas celebration with Burj Khalifa transformed into the world’s tallest Christmas tree, Kapoor expresses admiration, saying, “Dubai believes in doing something different from the rest of the world, and they proved this after transforming Burj Khalifa into the world’s tallest Christmas tree.”
Kapoor appreciates Dubai’s welcoming atmosphere, flashy lifestyle, and the city’s reputation as a top destination for parties and luxury shopping. He particularly praises Dubai malls as the best places for shopping new and latest products.
